Electrolytic cell

Titanium sheet steel mesh can be used as anode substrate
The electrolytic cell is composed of a cell, an anode and a cathode, most of which are separated by a diaphragm. The anode of the electrolyzer is a mixed metal oxide electrode, which is made of a substrate containing a variety of metal oxides. The electrolytic cell works by electrolysing the water in the cell into hydrogen and oxygen. At present, electrolytic cells are developing towards large capacity and low energy consumption, and are widely used in chlor-alkali and hydrogen and oxygen production industries.

In industrial applications, platinum-plated titanium mesh is used as a mixed metal oxide anode for electrolytic cells and as a cathodic protective mesh for concrete, pipes and other building materials.
